The Benefits of Drinking Coffee

The benefits of drinking coffee has been debated over and over. Some say coffee is bad for your health while others say it's actually good. There have been a lot of researches on coffee and most of these studies have proven that you can get a lot more  from your cup of Joe than just a kick to get you going through the day.

Studies have shown that one of the benefits of drinking coffee is that it can help lower your risk of developing illnesses like Diabetes, Cancer and Parkinson's disease. A Harvard research had concluded that drinking about 3 to 6 cups of coffee a day would significantly lower your risk of getting these conditions. It is also said that coffee balances the negative effects of other vices like smoking and drinking alcohol. If you're a heavy smoker or drinker, you'll have lower risk of getting liver and heart problems if you regularly load yourself with coffee. Aside from lowering your risks of developing several illnesses, coffee also has great amount of antioxidants which help fight off free radicals in your body.

Recent studies have found out that drinking coffee regularly lowers your risk of having neural degeneration and bad memory. The neural degeneration are often associated with aging and several brain disorders. Researchers also found out that the common knowledge of having increase risk of stroke and cardiovascular diseases when drinking coffee may not be true at all.

Caffeine is the main component responsible for all the benefits of drinking coffee. You can get caffeine from other sources like tea, cola and chocolates but coffee has the highest amount of  caffeine among all of these sources.

Are you ready to load up on caffeine? Before you do, keep in mind that too much of anything is bad. There may be numerous benefits of drinking coffee and you may be tempted to drink more than the usual amount of coffee you take daily but remember that some people have greater tolerance on caffeine than others do. Six cups of coffee daily may be too much for you, yet enough for another person. Signs which you may feel when you already have too much caffeine in your system are nervousness, trembling and increased heart rate. With that said, take your healthy dose of caffeine now.
