Here is a .pdf copy of the book Photoshop CS4 For the Dummies. I know CS5 has been released a few months ago but for some of you who still need help on CS4, this book is a great guide.
I've recently installed CS5 and just like any Photoshop versions, this version has amazed me alot. One feature that I think would come in handy for most people would be CS5's content-aware feature. Photoshop gives you more control over your pictures. It's always a great idea to explore the many things you can do with this software.
